    Hi, my name is Ryan.

I've been a lurker for only a few days, but, I am hoping to learn a few of the ins and outs of virus removal. I've done a number of virus removals for work and I have a bad habit of reading other people's problems and logs and trying to figure out what I would do if I were working on that system. (I'm more of a throw everything i can at it and fix windows afterwards type of guy).

One of the biggest things I want to learn is the intricacies of ComboFix and OTL (most recently the use of CFScript.txt and for OTL Fix.txt -> what determines what you put in those cute little text files from the logs you get. Something I'm not entirely sure is possible to answer really).

I've picked up on a few little utilities that I haven't really used extensively or used different utilities to the same effect. And am more or less just interested in learning more about making Windows work!

    P.S. <3 Broni
P.P.S I work at a little local computer repair shop and have been doing sales / tech work.

    Hi Ryan

    Welcome to [IMG] :grinthumb

You can read how to post a new thread in this Guide.

Before posting you should read all the Posting Guidelines.

To access technical support you may go to the Forums.

Many users like to post system specs in their Profile.

System Specs are always helpful when you seek support, (see the first two suggestions).
And helpers may ask that you post some of your specs in your thread.

You can access many other online TechSpot guides Here.

    Enjoy your Stay :)
