Well, I want to free up a USB portand actually use my ethernet port. Now if I plugin the ethernet cable Windows recognizes Local Area Connection (1) and the modem recognizes that its connected via ethernet (the ethernet light lights up on the modem). Problem is that try as I may, repairing the connection fails and I can't get an IP Address and thus can't get online. All it says is that the connection is limited Its a Westell Dual Connect model B90-210015-04 and I cant find any ethernet drivers anywhere.

Did you try unplugging and plugging the modem back in?

You can also try and manually configure the IP address as well after you tried unplugging it and plugging it back in.
