What 3DMark05 score should I expect? What's yours?

My specs are:

MSI 6600GT PCI-X o/c to 385/1125
MSI K8N Neo4 SLI Platinum
AMD 64 3500 slightly o/c to 2.2GHz
1GB (2 x 512) OCZ PC3200 400MHz 2.5-3-3-7 timings
WD 36GB 10,000RPM Raptor.
WinXP SP2
Zalman 7000B Cu-Quiet CPU Cooler.

Hmm, my 3DMark05 score is 4175. Is this what I should expect with my 6600GT and system? On-line scores for the 6600GT can be a lot higher it seemed.

What are other ppl's scores/card/mobo/cpu.

2gb ram 2-3-2-5

hey about 4000 with a 6600GT is good... i'm running a Pentium D 830 with 2 gigs of RAM and a 6800GS and i get only 6570 on 3DMark05

OK, well at least I'm not having problems, it just seemed low compared to some other 6600GT card scores. These ppl must have their whole systems OCed to the max, because I saw 7000's and even a few 8000's on a 6600GT. When you're sitting at low 4000's you think, umm saddness.

Well maybe I have an OCing project to do this weekend. :wave:

Those 7000-8000 scores are likely two 6600gts in sli, or else they've got their cpu and video card overclocked like mad.

Has to be SLI, theres no way you can double a 3dmark score by OCing.

I get around 5000 in '05 with the specs listed below.

I'll admit I'm not too familiar with 3DMark05 scores and on the web site you don't find a lot of detail about the rig that posted them. I used the criteria of 6600GT vid card, so maybe that's the answer they were all SLI and failed to indicate that in the results info.

Boy!! Parts of the scene with the flying ship and the water creature sure ground my "macheen" to a practical halt!! I was pushing a wopping 1-5 FPS.
God how much money does one have to spend on a gaming rig to get some decent performance? :knock: " I know there's an ON button around here somewhere".

I don't remember what I got on 05 but I think it was around 8xxx+. I know I've got 4594 on 06 with a single card.
