Little wonder 128GB RAM is marginal. :D

I have quite a few. From left to right we have Task View, Task Manager, File Explorer, team, Edge, Chrome, Vivaldi, Adobe Bridge, Photoshop and Lightroom, Word, Excel, Outlook, Search Everything, and 3DS.
Those are my most used programs.
I pin lesser used ones to the Start Menu. Also, I use Stardock Object Dock for lots of other programs, drives, etc.

If I wanted my programs to dance around like drunken pixies I'd get a Mac. Quick Launch is thankfully still hidden within the code and easily enabled. What good is a giant icon on the taskbar? I want to at least see a partial name of whatever documents I have open. I also want my shortcuts to stay where I put them. I'd like my windows to do the same but apparently that's still beyond Microsoft's level of expertise.

I also HATE desktop icons... I have mycomputer and the recycle bin, that's it. Then pinned to the task bar I have the browser and one tool I use all the time (putty).

There are 6 or so pinned inside my start bar (W7) and the rest I go to all-programs and click on them. Clean and organized. Not a click-button-hunt fest on the bar.

Files Explorer & Firefox. I don't care for having things pinned to the Taskbar, it gets really messy. At work I only have PowerShell, Internet Explorer, Outlook & File Explorer pinned.
