What can I do with old PC parts?

Hey techies,
I've recently acquired a bunch of old motherboards, RAM and modem components, and I want to be able to do something cool with them as a little project but this is my first venture into anything like this - I'm fine with investing money into this as well.

Any ideas?

There isn't much you can do with old PC parts. You can see if you can get a working system put together and then put 98SE on it and you'd have a solid early 90s-early 2000s gaming rig.

To the upside, it definitely would get you off your a** and out of the house....

I wonder how many poor PCs gave their lives in vain to create that monstrosity?
