  1. Can someone explain this is laymen terms. I am purchases parts for a system i am looking to build. I have always liked asus boards so I am looking to get either ASUS P6T SE or [3-Way SLI] ASUS P6T but i dont know what the 3-way thing exactly means.

SLI is Nvidias version of ATI's crossfire technology. the 'three way' refers to the number of GPU's working in tandem. you will notice that the ASUS P6T SE you are contemplating have three PCIE slots,so you can install three cards.

ok so being thats its Nivida version would ATI Radeon HD 5870 - 1GB video card would work well on the 3-Way SLI ASUS P6T? My plan is to use the single card for now and then add additional cards later in life.
