What IP address is my modem??

    Hello I have recently brought myself an ethernet modem but it came without any instructions and I don't know the IP address it is an Asus AAM 6000EV. I think the IP address is 192.168.1.1 but i'm not sure does this sound right? and is there anything else i need to know? thanks. coastymad.

    yep modem /router
    it should have default of 192 168 1 1

    you will need to change the nic settings
    was OS are you running and or do search here lots of stickys on setting up your network card
    there may be a reset button on it ,if router is used and does not work properly try resetting
