Hi Guys,
What is the succession of nVidia cards in this linage GTX 960, GTX 970 GTX 980 Titan-X all with Maxwell architecture as in the dates of release?...(obviously the Titan was just announced last week!)
Just trying to work out a purchase option, being that this range is based in two CPU chipsets that of the LGA1155 and the LGA2011-v3.
How long would the wait be, before nVidia released a graphics card that was design based, entirely on the LGA2011-v3 socket?
As I need to upgrade my machine in the next month and am opting for the LGA2011-v3 path.

Kind of a curly question (y)(n)

U listed The cards in as the better, u're 1155 chipset would run any of these card fine. PIC-E 16 is all the speed u can get on any socket, the LGA2011-v3 will just give u more lanes for more cards to run on. That does not mean they will run faster unless u are already filling up the lanes (most boards will run SLI) at least 1155 boards and upwards. the list as in slower to faster is GTX960, GTX970, GTX980, and the Titan-X being the fastest.
the only way any thing is going to speed up is if u are trying 3 way SLI.
