what is up with my background?

Hey,
I'm wondering why my desktop background is happening to have something on it. The first time it had follow the finger background but If I click on it it goes to the website.So I restarded my computer and it wasnt there no more. That was all yesterday. Today I was also in my computer I was doing what I usually do be in the internet. Then when I minimized my background it was blank and has on the left corner something about poker.How can I get rid of this? Is this a virus or spyware problem.


also my computer is being really slow. How can I make it faster?


I'm usin a compaq windows xp.

Your computer may indeed be infected with spyware etc.

Go HERE and follow the instructions exactly.

Post a fresh HJT log into this thread, only after doing the above.

HJT(HijackThis) Is a small utility that allows us to see what programmes and processes etc are running on your system. This is very useful for finding and eliminating spyware etc.

You will find a link and instructions for using and posting your HJT log, in the link I gave you.
