What is Winfixer 2005?

The title says it, really. I've had a popup saying I should install and run it, but what is it, and do I want it? A Yahoo search came up with links saying what a useful tool it is, and others describing it as a parasite and giving removal instructions.

it's aload of cr@p that is splashed all over your screen when you are infected with spyware.

unless you have problems with Windows or want to tweak it for any reason - i'd say dont bother.

also - as it sounds like a spyware problem - get some well needed spyware protection and scan your machine ASAP.
