I've been using GameSpy Arcade to play the C&C Renegade Demo online. A few days ago, GameSpy Arcade has just stopped working, not connecting to the servers to download server info.

I've reinstalled it and now it just hangs on the "Downloading Service Map" and stops responding.

Even when I goto either Gamespy3d.com or Gamespyarcade.com, they won't load up in the browser, just stops downloading after the grey background appears.

Whats the problem, it was working one day and not the next?? This is such a mystery I can't determine what the problem is!

have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling?

...i just got back from a good game of ren... so gamespy works
now that they patched the lag problem in renegade, its even more enjoyable.

Of Course, makes no difference!
