What RAM config is better?

I have overclocked my system but I am not sure which is the best way to config the ram.

I am running this at the moment:

    P4 3.0E
    Abit IC7
Corsair Platinum 2x512 dual channel kit (ddr 400)
    BFG geforce 7600gs oc 512 ddr2

I have a 1:1 ratio for cpu to ram when i overclock it to 3.60ghz. therefore my ram is running at 240mhz @ 2.8V. for this to work I have raised the latency timings from (2.2.2.5) to (3.3.3.6).

Question is, what is the best config. running a 1:1 ration with the higher latencies or keep the low latencies and run a 5:4 ration?

    thanks

Why don't you run some tests and see what the benchmarks say?

Try running 3DMark06 with the 1:1 ratio, then again with the 5:4 and see what gives you higher performance.

Also, what voltage is your ram approved for? I believe the platinum corsair is fine up to 2.9v, but you should research to confirm.

Thanks for the speedy reply DonNagual. the ram is approved for 1.9 but my mobo limit on the IC7 is 2.8V for RAM. I will download 3dmark06 just now and run the benchmarks and have some fun playing around with the settings
