What should I do if "Local Disk C" icon disappears?

Hey all.

I've got Windows XP, now... when I double-click "My Computer", the "Local Disk C" partition has no icon! It's blank, it has the miscellaneous icon. How can I restore it?

Four solutions.One must work.

1.Kelly`s Korner has a "fix" No.119 which claims to change the icon.

2.Remove any autorun.inf from the root directory(C).
Then go to Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/View and reset all folders.

3.Go to Start/Run and type in: regsvr32 /i shell32

4.Install Windows script again HERE
