  1. Memory or Video Card? :bounce:

    Upgrading from a 6600GT to a 6800GS?

Which one should I do, I'm only doing one, this is for gaming purposes.

I run BF2SF and BF2, and have no major issues. Sometimes, I have lag for a moment, but then it goes away, usually the first 10 seconds when I first join a game.

    3.4 Ghz Pentium Prescott
    1 GB PC3200 memory
    nVidia 6600GT PCIe GPU
    80 GB SATA150 HD

You'll probably get a variety of opinions and here's mine.

More memory MIGHT improve your graphics performance, especially if the "lag" is due to unloading unwanted programs from memory.

Umm i reckon you should go the ram, becoz the 2 gpu's yur changing between arent that different, whereas with twice the ram, youll get a noticable boost of performance.
