What video card should I get?

  1. Im lookin for the best card for gaming..Dont care if its ati or nvidia I just want the best possoble card for around 80$.. I dont know what to look for like core clock and all that stuff Im not sure what all that means.Thanx

    What kind of video card slot do you have? AGP? PCI-E x16?

    If you can wait a little, and get more money, a 6600GT or X800GTO would be a great choice.

    I'd recommend the ATI X800GTO, I have it and it's great, just needs some good cooling.

    a 6600 or a x700 or x1600...brouse here new egg i'll give you a good idea for price

    Huh?

    Did you even read his post before posting this? First of all, his budget is 80$, not a few hundred... And second, the 7800 and 7900 are cards only for the PCI-E x16 slot.

    not true. The top of the line AGP is the 7800GS

    An nvidia 7900GS is an exellent choice. Now you just have to make sure its compatible with your motherboard.
