What's wrong with my TV?

My TV Samsung un55es6500fxza has weird images displayed on the lower half of the screen. Any help appreciated!

Without knowing much about these TVs, I would guess that it has a display chip problem, so if still under guarantee then that's the way to go. But it would be worth doing a 'Factory reset' to see if the same problem happens after that.
