  1. After moderating my computer, i have found out that the spool32 file has been deleted, which is needed to run applications. Does anyone know where i can download this file so i can put it back in the win32 file and get everything working again?

    Thanks

Well, I have no idea, but im using Windows XP Home Edition
I will search my computer for it, and if your using the same thing I can upload it somewhere and give you the link if you like?

(and to make searchign faster where is it located)

Ahhh but that doesn't solve the problem.

Basically a virus or something was executed on my computer, which deleted something in dos (which i believe to be spool32.exe). I found the virus, and executed it again but this error comes up.

    Windows cannot find spool32.exe

This program is needed for opening files of the type "application".

Since its none of my applications that are working, im assuming that i need the spool32.exe program so i can run my applications again. Btw, the virus (which is an exe) is the only application to come up with that error :/

    You should go here first:
To fix Trojans, see How to remove Trojans and its ilk!

Then click Start/Run and type in: sfc /scannow and click OK. Keep your Windows-CD handy to restore the needed file(s).
