  1. Where can I find the correct mounting hardware for an old HD to install in a new Dell computer? The old HD was mounted horizontally. It looks like the Dell uses a vertical approach. Shouldn't this stuff be easy to find?? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

You can mount hard drives in any direction you like. Usually the only hardware you need to mount a HD is screws.

If you really need some brackets or rails to mount a hard drive in your new Dell then the Dell salesman is the man to approach.

    Thank you for the info.

Thank you for the info. I need to take a closer look inside my Dell to see if there are extra rails hiding in there. Thanks again for the info.
