Where on my hard drive is the recyle bin?

I have deleted the recycle bin icon from my desktop by deleting its registry key. (I love not having any icons on my desktop :)

Can I still access the recycle bin's contents? Where is the thing located on my hard drive and how do I get to it (other than by restoring its desktop icon)?

Many thanks from a first-time poster :)

Tools -> folder options -> view tab -> make sure that

"display the contents of system folders", and "show hidden files and folders" are checked

make sure that "Hide extentions for known file types", and "Hide protected operating system files. (reccomended)" are unchecked. Click apply, then ok, and then look again at the root of each drive.

It's a hidden folder called recycler, in which is a bin icon with a random looking name like "S-1-5-21-1275210071-1801674531-725345543-1003". One on each drive as RBS said. (he wasn't telling fibs, honest. It's there :D)

No problem :D

I have to say though, RBS is pretty clever too (cleverer than I acctually. lol) :D

disclaimer: I in no way like to flatter anyone's ego. It's just a fact that RBS has been playing this game longer than I have.

I'm in one of those funny moods tonight I think. lol
