Which processor is better?

Core 2 Duo E6850

or the intel quad core 2.4?

might seem dumb but some one told me stick with my e6850 =/

depends on what you intend on using it for.

if you're a gamer - multi core cpus won't give you too much of an edge except on a few select titles.

if you multitask then more cores are better.

Future games will take advantage of multiple cores so get the Core 2 Quad instead. There are just a handful right now but upcoming titles will be multi-threaded.
