Why does my video look so bad?

Well, i have posted before about getting a new graphics card, but i have not got it. I have on-board graphics (Intel Extreme 82845G). Anyway, when i play any video, no matter if it has been downloaded or if it is from a DVD, it looks really bad and fuzzy when it is played full-screen. Could someone please tell me why? Also i just got a new graphics driver and it didnt do anything. I was wondering if just finally buying that graphics card would solve my problems with the video.

your symptoms sound like a corrupt video codec...
