Why does my wifi disconnect and is unable to reconnect until i restar my computer?

Im not very much of a tech savvy person and really need help. I don't know why my wifi disconnects and is unable to reconnect until I restart it. it happens every so often, maybe 45 minutes in between. please keep it simple so I can understand (y)(y)(y).
