Hi there,
I've got a house with thick stone walls and am trying to get some connectivity in my basement. I've given up on wifi signal reaching down there, so I bought a homeplug ethernet kit to get a connection from my wireless router which is upstairs to my desktop PC in the basement.
I just bought a nas which I'd like to connect in the basement though...
What's the best way to connect more than one ethernet device to the single ethernet output of the homeplug kit? I have a spare wireless access point running ddwrt but I'm worried about ip address clashes/issues with the main router. Should I just buy a switch instead?
would love any advice
thanks indeed
