Will this memory setup work correctly

I just purchased 2x 1gig of ram DDR 400 from tigerdirect. I currently have 1 gig total 2x 512mb. My motherboard is a msi K8N Neo4 platinum if that helps, and my manual says I can support up to 4 gigs. But I don't know if mix sizes are going to hurt my performance.

Ideally, I would use all the same brand and model of memory... and the same size modules... but what you have should work ok as long as none of it is Value Ram.

that would work if the brand and speed is the same but as u have not told any specs I am not saying anything.
