Win 10 peculiarities

When I upgraded from WIN7 to WIN 10, I chose not to include any of the apps that appeared to be intrusive-so now it seems a lot of what I had on WIN7 is not available,such as internet time and sound options. I did set my time zone,which is all that should be needed, but WIN 10 seems to have an insatiable need to track my location and browsing history or it won't co-operate!!
I have to reset the clock after every start-up.which is annoying (as is WIN10 generally!!!)

Press Windows key + r ( + r).
Type services.msc.
Click Windows Time in the Name column.
Alternate click and then click Properties.
Change Startup type to Automatic (if it’s not already set to Automatic).
Click Start if the service isn’t started.
