Hi, I am s/w developer in a dutch company called procit. We have a client-server network in which we run win2k professional on server also.We have IIS, SQLSERVER 2000 and Remote Admin as prominent softwares on the network. The other softwares isntalled are - 1)Cacheman 2)FSecure Antivirus I dont recollect though about any new s/w being installed but to the best of my knowledge its not installed. From a couple of days i am recieving a pop-up message on the server,of this kind - WinMgmt.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being generated. In the Event Viewr i get this documentation of the error - WMI ADAP was unable to process the performance libraries: 0x80041001 Due to this popup, the REMOTE ADMIN stopped working completely. Also SQL SERVER SERVICE doesnt get automatically started up at the beginning and also it stops in the middle of the operations. I searahed this error on the net and found some documentation (regarding some edition in the registry) but was invain. I am sure you will help me out of this problem otherwise i will have to re-install window 2k professional completely. Thanking you in advance Regards Sachin Doke
