win xp pro 64 bit verse 32 bit

  1. hey guys i was wondering how much of a performance boost id get from a amd x2 4400plus if i was using win xp pro verses win xp pro 64 bit edition.

    The performance mostly comes from the OS being able to read more than 3 Gigs of ram in the 64 bit edition. I love mine.

    The only real big difference between the 32bit and 64bit editions is the amount of RAM you can use and the minimum requirement of processors.
