WIN XP REPAIR INSTALL PROBLEM w/SERIAL ATA DRIVE

    HELP!!!!WIN XP REPAIR INSTALL PROBLEM w/SERIAL ATA DRIVE

    Could use a little help, I am trying to do a Repair install with Win XP PRO when I boot from disk everything loads fine, until I have to Push the R key to initiate repair, it says NO HARD DRIVE FOUND. and thats as far as I can go.
    Anyone know how to get the Serial ATA drive to be recognized like an IDE drive or ??????
