Win XP SP2 Firewall

Hi

Recently my PC has started telling me that my firewall is turned off when I boot up. But when I go to Security settings it says its ON.

Any Ideas?

You said you were using windows xp firewall are you also using a firwall from some other manufacturer if so it is probably having them both running at the same time that is causing the problem. You could try turning of the windows firewall and restart a couple time to see if that is in fact the problem
