I just have installed win2003 server with SP1, whenever I try to shutdown laptop ,always I received this error message:

((The instruction at "0Xb5524148" referenced memory at "0Xb5524148". The memory could not be "read".

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program
OK CANCEL))

Then blue screen pops up with this error message:

((STOP C0000219 { Fatal System Error} The windows logon process system terminated unexpectedly, with a status f 0x000000005 (0x00000000) The system has been shutdown.))

Is the problem with CD win2003 Software? Or with HD ?

Or with another program that has been installed with OS?

And when I start the computer again I received this error message:

((Winlogon.exe encountered a problem and needed to close

The error occurred on 6/11/2005 at 10:37 am

Please tell Microsoft a bout this problem

I do not have much experience with 2003 , but Portables can be O/S specific and I do not recall reading or seeing Server used on them.
You should check with the manufacturer's site to confirm your model can handle 2003 and confirm if you have all the correct files and drivers for your O/S from them.
