Win2k install restarts

I'm trying to reinstall Windows 2000 Pro after formating my hard drive and it gets past the screen where you have to enter the product key and it installs about 1/10 of the windows files and then restarts my computer. I've been through this several times last time I reformated but my brother can't remember how he fixed it. Any ideas?

Have you repartitioned and re-formatted the primary
drive?

yes about 4 times in the last week.

eh, i think it's just my retarted computer. i took the hard drive out and put it in another and it worked fine.
