Win32:VBStat-C [trj] Help !!!!!

  1. I have been recently infected with the Win32:VBStat-C trojan and everything i have used has failed in the removal of this. Avast detects the trojan and tries to delete it but after every restart it comes back. Any advice or any help would be greately appreciated. The situation has become desperate now.

    Hi willbo88 and welcome to techspot. =)

    Important: Please read this thread HERE before you decide whether to clean or reformat your system.

    Should you decide to clean your computer, please go ahead to Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions and follow the steps given. Do follow all the instructions exactly. They will provide logs for analysis of your system so I will know how to instruct you to proceed.

    Thereafter, please post fresh HijackThis, AVG Antispyware and Combofix logs as attachments into this thread. Do not copy and paste your logs if not it will be ignored and/or removed.

    Also, please let me know the results of the AVG Antirootkit scan

    hijack this log

    This was my hijackthis log. I will post the avg and other logs when i next get a free moment.

    Moderator Edit: Please read my previous instructions carefully. Do NOT paste your logs. Attach the .log or .txt files instead.
