How do you fix a win32K.sys file from giving you a blue screen after three hours of using the computer. I recently installed a Western Digital 30GB 7200RPM Hard drive and a 256 stick of PC2100 Kingston memory ( I previously had 512MB stick of PNY Optima 400Mhz DDRam all by itself) and I just can't get the dang thing stablized. I'm Running on Windows XP Home Edition SP2. Please help.

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

win32k.sys error can be caused by a lot of different things.

Does your system become stable if you take out the new stick of ram?

See HERE for instructions for testing your ram.

Lets test your ram first.

I would be inclined to think it`s probably a ram problem.

If that checks out ok, then attach 5 or 6 minidumps here.

You can find instructions for this in the thread that I linked.

Regards Howard :) :)
