  1. To make a long story short:

I left my Dell home for 3 months and when I returned several things were not working the biggest being the security center. I've been playing around with my computer for a while trying to fix the problem and I think it's gotta be these stupid winantivirus and errorsafe popups. I can't rid rid of them. I've tries vundo from symantec and ewido. I have the comodo firewall (my windows firewall and security center will not start even when I try to start them manually from services) and I'm ot sure if this help but WMI is missing from my comp. I'm not sure if this is winantivirus deleting these things but it's not a person. Here is my hijackthis log:

    Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Very Important: Before deciding whether you should clean or reformat your system, go and read this thread HERE and decide what it is you want to do.

If after reading the above you decide you want to clean your system, do the following.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT and AVG Antispyware logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

    Regards Howard
