Windows 10 has been finalized, goes RTM on build 10240

I thought the advanced options were buried too... but they are actually SUPER easy to get to. Right click on the "Start" Icon and smile a bit inside :-D

You can also do windows key + x, but that wasn't the point I was trying to make. The fact that there isn't a unified interface for settings is frustrating, especially given many drivers still put entries into the control panel. This is going to confuse the average user and annoy power users.

I cant wait until I can use my intel i74770k hd graphics with my gtx asus strix 980. some people may say why. you may as well just use your gpu. I dont see the point. But. there is a point. In some games. like grid. and now I noticed also in f1 2015 you get extra graphics options to use the HD intel graphics for better smoke and skid marks etc. also with these cool intel features. you could also use the hd graphics on your chip for physics dedicated gpu. meaning you have less work for your gpu meaning improved frame rates and more. there was a program that was suppose to allow you to do this. Lucidlogics vitua mvp that came free with some motherboards. but was very expensive to buy. and did not work half the time. well more than half. so I am interested in this feature. and hope its going to be a working one. should be cool.

Installed here. If you ask me Windows 10 is not there yet, it's better than 8 and 8.1 for sure, but Microsoft should keep relentlessly updating this build until the end of the year to achieve real polish across the board.

I totally agree. Comparisons with Windows 8/8.1 are inevitable, but the real competition for Windows 10 is Apple and Google. Compared to their software, Windows 10 is kludgy.

Microsoft's excuse is Windows-as-a-service, but I don't think the typical computer user is going to buy that. Not when they're already carrying a device that does everything Windows 10 does, only better.

Fwiw, three Edge crashes, one a blue screen that I had to push the big button for (stuck at 0% reporting for 10 minutes, I gave up) while watching MASH on netflix overnight, the only app running..
My confidence wains (10166 was rock-steady as far as crashes, had other issues already mentioned)
