Windows 10 will not display full screen on 23" LG Monitor

  1. Is this a driver issue or a Windows 10 issue? Device Manager says my LG driver is up to date and that the MS display driver is also up to date.

Have you tried going into the Control Panel>Display & configuring it there?

Of Course; the borders of the display won't stretch either. It's like the driver thinks the display is 21 inches.

I'm talking about going to Control panel>All Control Panel Items>Display & click on Change display settings. I hope this helps.

I understand . been there; done that. makes no difference. I think the probleme is a generic microsoft video driver that overrides my ati video card in Windows 10.

Nvidia? SLI? I had the same problem. Uninstall your driver(s) and reboot. I let the GeForce Experience install the drivers and it then worked, but that's only for Nvidia. I understand that you have an LG monitor, but what type of GPU?
