Windows 2000 OS not starting

    hi,

    I've installed windows 2000 advanced server operating system. Afterwards i've removed the hard disk and connected to another computer. Now the problem is that the OS is not srarting up. It is loading till 'starting windows' and not proceeding further. Both the systems are having Intel mother boards.
    Please advise...

    Typical symptom of a failed hard drive. Reformat your harddrive once more, and try again... Also, go to the site of the driver manufacturer to download their drive fitness test software and test the drive several times. All manufacturers except Toshiba laptop hard drives have a similar software.
