The problem with my Windows 2000 receiving the error: C:\winnt\system32\Isass.exe terminated unexpectedly with status code 128. Then my system shuts down
Has been fixed! This is the steps that I did:
1. Download KB823980 from Windows Technet and install.
2. Download KB835732 from Windows Technet and install.
3. Download Spybot search & destroy=spybotsd13.exe and run.
4. Download SpyFerrett and install/run.
5. Also download the latest updates from Microsoft. Do this regularly.
6. Update Norton to be sure nothing else in on your pc.
7. After all done test out and see if it works! In a few days run Spybot and SpyFerrett again just to be sure it is all cleared off.
After I did all this finally it worked. Hopefully this will help someone else. I also had to download from another pc/laptop onto a CD in order to get the Windows 2000 problem resolved. This problem is sooooooooo annoying!
