Windows 32bit or 64?

  1. I dont know if this was ever discussed here before but I tried looking but didnt see any post so if it was discused in the past i apoligise for asking again.
    I have windows Vista 32 bit but was thinking of upgrading to 64 bit can any one tell me the pros or cons on the 2 versions? and the benifits of one over the other? I mostly use the comp for video games and website hosting if that helps.

    Not really any downside to the 64 bit version, other than driver/software compatibility but most things are running on both so it shouldn't be to much of a problem.

    Take a look at the link and then I would decide If its worth the upgrade.

    thanks, so if its vista os it should have the same effects as the xp as stated in the link?

    Yea, I would have to agree with the others. Do some reasearch and make sure that the games that you are playing are compatible with a 64 bit OS.

    well if u have more than 3.25GB of ram den u can consider gettin it upgraded to 64bit
