Hey guys, i was just wondering if anyone can help me out with my problem: My PC keeps feezing/crashing when im in internet explorer. Not all the time, not every website.. most the time seems as if there is a more complicated website that requires a flashplayer, or has more images or something it will just freeze, lots of black squares will appear around the cursor. This is really annoying me now, as im running a fairly new computer , HP TouchSmart 300PC, and all their tech support said to me: every time that happens, unplug your power cable from the PC for 10 seconds, then plug it back in. That way computer doesnt freeze/crash THAT often, i could run it 2-3 days. But then again once it starts, it freezes like 5-7 times a day. I know this shouldnt be happening at all though I scanned for maliciousware/viruses (Norton 360+ Malware bytes) computer seems to be clean, tried defragmenting it still keeps happening! I could be in winamp all day, it wont freeze/crash. As soon as i go on IE. it starts. Anyway my system specs are: OS Name Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Version 6.1.7600 Build 7600 Other OS Description Not Available OS Manufacturer Microsoft Corporation System Name FAMILY-PC System Manufacturer HP-Pavilion System Model VG255AA-ABU 300-1025uk System Type x64-based PC Processor AMD Athlon(tm) II X3 400e Processor, 2200 Mhz, 3 Core(s), 3 Logical Processor(s) BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. 5.08, 28/10/2009 SMBIOS Version 2.6 Windows Directory C:\Windows System Directory C:\Windows\system32 Boot Device \Device\HarddiskVolume1 Locale United Kingdom Hardware Abstraction Layer Version = "6.1.7600.16385" User Name FAMILY-PC\Tomas Time Zone GMT Daylight Time Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 4.00 GB Total Physical Memory 3.75 GB Available Physical Memory 1.92 GB Total Virtual Memory 7.50 GB Available Virtual Memory 5.11 GB Page File Space 3.75 GB Page File C:\pagefile.sys Hope this helps =) Im on IE 8.
