Windows 7 will not boot

Please help,

Today I booted up as normal but got the following message 'WYIFM is compressed' Press Ctrl Alt Del to restart.'

I do that but the same message comes up evey time.

F8 does not work so I can not even go into safe mode.

I have windows 7 and the last thing I installed was a DVD burning programme which worked fine. he PCis about 18 months ldand I have not had any problems with it.

Any ideas please?

Thank you

You have to change the first boot device to the CDROM in the bios before you can boot from the CD

I did that but still had a problem. I used my laptop to create a rescue disc but that didnt work either then I found this link - 'sevenforums.com/tutorials/20864-mbr-restore-windows-7-master-boot-record.html' and that worked perfectly with my rescue disc.

Thanks for the help though :)
