Windows 7 won't show login prompt

Windows 7 pro x64bit will boot up all the way to the page where you login but does not show any user accounts to login to. I tried restoring to an earlier date and still have the same problem. I can still get in using safe mode. I think something in my services has failed to startup not sure. I am going to go check the event log now while I wait for any help or suggestions.

I ran a full scan on both my computers using AVG (paid business version) and found 0 threats. I finally got into it yesterday and it seemed to all start with a windows update gone array.
