I have an older pen plotter that I am trying to network into a modern Windows XP system at school. The problem is that the plotter is so old (it’s a Calcomp Designmate 3024M) that the only drivers available for it will work only with Windows 95 (I’ve tried and done a lot of research on this... there is no other way to run this plotter, not even Win98). I have the Windows 95 system up and running and plotting fine. However I can not get the Windows XP Computers and Network to recognize it. I want to be able to just print/plot right from the any of the Windows XP computers without have to transport the files back and forth. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

PS: Getting a new plotter won't work... no funding...

If connecting to xp, and cannot browse Network Neighborhood, the workgroup specified
in Network Configuration may be different from the Domain name
also on the 95 machine setup the printer for sharing just like you would a file
I don't use domains
I just use workgroup names both machines have to have the same names
best bet is go to MS website look up info on msdn networking
