    1. What is the point of a built-in USB port on a loptop running windows 95B if it does not support any hardware after recognizing it?

    2. Can I use adapters to connect USB scanner to another port?

Not at all. I have two other computers. One running windows 98 and one running windows xp. I would love to just upgrade the the 95 to 98. I was trying to avoid the cost of the upgrade software. Is there a way to run an operating system accross a network? Or to share an operating system between two computers?
