Windows 98se and IE

I have 2 older Compaq armada E500s both running 98se. IE and Mozilla always work for a few then I end up with an error and they crash. Any help?

Probably spyware.Go HERE follow all the steps,

then post the three logs in the Security forum.

They`re both the latest versions - IE6 and FF 2. something ?

What exactly is the error ? A broadband connection ?

Try Firefox in Firefox Safe Mode - Start/Programs/Firefox/Firefox (Safe mode)

That migth help to rule out problems with browsers.
