Windows Blast Virus

ok ive been told about ths "windows blast virus" and im starting to think its not even out there. are there anyone that can explain it to me... or is some one just pulling my chain by making me worry about viruses that dont exist

It exists. Millions of computers have been infected and I've single handedly cleaned up several dozens of infected computers in this area.

If you are behing a router, firewall software, or already have the patch which protects against "Blasterworm", then you would have been unaffected.

ok well i have a firewall and im behind a router. so i guess im safe. but speaking of being behind a router i cant do a lot of things and ive been told i need to forward the ports but i have no clue what that is or how to do it.

your router config software should have a way for you to forward IP addresses . what type/brand router & firewall do you have? This should help explain what port fowarding is
