"windows explorer has stopped working"

  1. Well, I just bought this new desktop literally a day ago..and I wasn't too high on having Norton A/V on it, so i proceeded to uninstall it and restarted my computer. When I restarted the computer, I got a popup claiming "windows explorer has stopped working" it also has alternatives on the bottom wheter to check online for a solution and restart the program, or just restart it. When I viewed the problem details, this is what comes up.

    I can access the internet and everything if i don't click on restart the program, but i can't get into any other programs, while it's still there. Any tips would be appreciated on how to fix this problem, oh and btw i'm running windows vista OS on this computer.
