  1. about a week ago, i started hearing little clicks aand popping sounds as if i was on the internet clicking on links and stuff. But this was happening when no programs were open, so that freaked me out a little. Also, whenever i have a program open once in a while it will "unhighlight" as if i clicked on my desktop or another window, all by itself. Whenever i play a game, every couple minutes i will be returned to the destop all by itself.
Well, i ctrl-alt-delete and found that Explorer.exe was taking up almost all my CPU and was at about 100,000 Kb. Then i looked at my zone labs internet security suite and saw that explorer was using the internet. is this normal and what the hell is going on.

Lets rule out the possibility of a virus/spyware etc.

Go HERE and follow the instructions for posting a HJT log.

I`ll take a look at it and advise.

    Regards Howard :)
