A worm has begun spreading that exploits what some have called the most widespread Windows flaw ever--a flaw for which Microsoft issued a patch in July. Since we had warned you a couple of times during the last few weeks I really hope most of you haven't been affected by the virus.

If you have been affected though, here's extensive coverage of the problem and how to solve it.

Discussion about this flaw was made in our forums days ago and with the widespread of the virus came a bunch of people looking for information on how to solve their problems. This forum thread got heavily googled throughout the day receiving well over 55,000 views so far... leading to a record of forum user registrations in one day, too.

lol...I was one of those who registered yesterday! And I wanna thank the creators of this site for putting up such a great resource for PCers who can give and receive help.

Yes, many thanks to Techspot and its members. I gained a lot of info from reading the discussion.

We are all glad we can help, as that is what we are here for. A place to come for computer knowledge or questions. I hope you stick around and we can help you some more :)
