Windows is locked up?

  1. HI dudes! Real sorry if this is in the wrong forum! Wasn't really too sure where to put it.

Right ok so my boss got a new machine at work for cutting optcal lenses, with the machine we got a dell optiplex 740 to act as a server between the machine and the company that supplied it for updates and what not. Thing is we don't really need it. The idea of selling it popped into his head. He has no idea about computers so he handed it to me and said get it work and he'll split the money we get for it with me.

So the problem is, the computer has everything locked. Windows starts up but you can't acess anything except the program for the machine. Theres no cd drive so i can't format/load a fresh copy of windows on it. Anyone have anyidea what i can try?

It depends on if the motherboard will detect a USB boot device
